The crystals shift so subtly throughout the day that I've started checking it before glancing at my phone for the forecast. It feels like a little piece of old-world science on my shelf.

Kept it on my desk for a week now, and it's honestly a conversation starter every single time someone walks by. The way the crystals shift with the air pressure is mesmerizing, and it feels substantial enough to be a real instrument rather than a cheap ornament.

Left it on the windowsill and the crystals genuinely shifted before a storm rolled in — the atmospheric pressure thing actually works. It’s the kind of desk piece that gets people asking questions, and I catch myself glancing at it more than my phone.
