My three-year-old asks to do this puzzle every night before bed now. The way each moon piece clicks into its slot makes the phases finally click for her — she pointed at the full moon outside and yelled "that's number five!

The eight puzzle pieces are chunky enough for small hands to grip easily, and my son loves matching each one to the picture on the box. It's turned our bedtime into a mini astronomy lesson without any screens, which is exactly what I hoped for.
