Newton's Double Pendulum Rocket

The way the pendulums start to swing in unpredictable patterns from a single tap is oddly satisfying. Feels solid and well-made, not like a cheap toy that'll fall apart.

I've had it on my desk for a week and I still catch myself staring during meetings—that one gentle push keeps it going way longer than I expected, and the chaotic motion is oddly calming. It's the perfect little conversation starter for anyone who geeked out over physics class.

I'd had my eye on this for weeks, and the actual motion is even more mesmerizing than the videos. The chaotic spinning really does change patterns unpredictably, which keeps it interesting. Only wish the base had a bit more weight to it for even smoother swings.
