The flywheel really does spin smoothly once it gets going, and watching it convert heat into motion is genuinely mesmerizing. I’ve had it running on my desk for a few hours now, and it’s sparked more conversations than any other gadget I own.

Watching the flywheel spin up during my first demo had me grinning like a kid, and the way it makes the concept of thermal energy tangible is perfect for classroom discussions. It’s sturdy enough to leave on my desk and fire up whenever someone asks what it is.

I was amazed at how smoothly the flywheel spins once the temperature stabilizes, it really brings the concept of thermodynamics to life. My kids and I spent a whole afternoon just watching it cycle and discussing how heat gets converted into motion.
