麥克斯韋輪

The spin on this Maxwell Wheel lasts surprisingly long—I timed about 90 seconds of back-and-forth motion from a single drop. It’s a fantastic desk toy that actually illustrates energy transfer, not just something pretty to look at.

The winding mechanism feels really smooth and sturdy, and it’s hypnotic to watch the wheel slow down just before reversing direction. My kids fight over who gets to wind it up next.

I love watching the wheel spin down and back up, the motion is almost hypnotic. The way it unwinds and rewinds so smoothly really shows the energy transfer. It's a perfect little desk distraction.
