Picked this up as a decorative piece for my desk, but was pleasantly surprised by how clear the actual magnification is—it reads tiny print on a map without any blurriness. The antique brass and wood combination looks even better in person than online.

The wood grain on the handle is so smooth, and the glass is surprisingly clear for a handcrafted piece. I’ve been using it to read tiny labels on jars, and it does the job perfectly. It also looks lovely on my desk when not in use.

The antique styling makes it feel like a prop from an old detective story, and the wood grain adds real charm to my bookshelf. It's genuinely useful for reading fine print, though I mostly keep it out for looks.
